'I have played basketball ever since I could walk, but had my career struck down through injury from not taking care of my body. For the last 7 years I have had chronic knee injuries from overuse. I tried all sorts of physio’s, chiro’s and gym routines to help me fix it, but I never could.

‘I had the pleasure of training with Mason in the gym every week in 2015 up until my departure to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 2016.

Mason was really fun to work with, he knew a lot about myself as an individual and he understood what I needed to do in order to improve my game. I learned correct technique in the gym and gained the necessary muscle mass to be able to handle bigger bodies in the paint.
